Kanami Kusajima is a dancer, performing artist, and choreographer based in NYC. She has performed in works by various choreographers, including Francesca Harper, Yoshiko Chuma and Ana Maria Lucaciu. She’s also known as “Let Hair Down,” a street performer in Washington Square Park who combines live painting and improvisational dance. Her unique performances were presented in notable art shows including Every Woman Biennial, The Westhampton Beach Project, Tribeca Art Show, and MADE BY WOMEN Festival.
